      Understanding the Linux operating system will grant you additional versatility in the technical workforce, expand your options for special technology projects, and open up vast communities of knowledge. Through hands-on training, we cover the fundamentals of vendor independent Linux operating systems by installing, configuring, using, and administering Linux in practical demonstrations. The content of this course and the level at which that content is taught is based on the objectives of LPIC-1 certification.

    • Administering a Linux Server
      This course covers the essentials of Linux server administration. Students install, configure, use, secure and administer a Linux enterprise server. Topics include user access and security, process and service control, server monitoring, networks and networking services, interoperability, package management, backup and recovery and essential BASH commands. The course covers the fundamentals of the vendor independent Linux operating system. Students install, configure, use, and administer Linux. The content of this course and the level at which that content is taught is based on the objectives of the CompTIA Linux+ exam.
